Since 2011, I have counted it a privilege to write music for The Lorenz Corporation, based in Dayton, Ohio. In June, company president Kris Kropff and my wonderful friends at Lorenz invited a group of composers to take part in a discussion-based retreat. It was a stimulating learning time for me, as well as an opportunity to make new friends in the business. We spent several days together, and I came home ready to write more music! Thank you to Reiff Lorenz, Kris, Lloyd, Larry and Jean Anne for an opportunity of a lifetime.
